Erica has over 30 years private and corporate sector experience in developing, inspiring and overseeing philanthropic initiatives. As owner of EWeinberg Consulting, Ideas in Philanthropy, Erica works with companies, private and family foundations and families to design and implement meaningful and impactful philanthropic programs and strategies. She remains steadfast in her commitment in creating tailor-made programs that are responsive to both funder and society.  She is at her best when advising clients on their philanthropic priorities and leading clients through planning and program grantmaking processes. 

She is skilled at engaging a diverse range of stakeholders using a distinct combination of her philanthropic expertise, thoughtful listening, open communication and diplomacy.   Knowing that board or family dynamics can be complex and sensitive, Erica creates spaces where all options are considered and ideas can flourish  - with a focus on building consensus and making decisions collaboratively.

Erica is often called upon to facilitate visioning and strategy processes, collaborative team-building exercises and learning communities, and board and foundation meetings. She has presented extensively to a wide range of audiences on philanthropy trends and issues.

She is currently Director of Integrated Initiatives & Grantmaking Services at TCC Group where she oversees strategy and grants design and implementation for a variety of corporate, private and family foundations.  Prior to TCC Group, Erica was Director of Global Philanthropy at Pfizer Inc, where she designed and oversaw the implementation of health and community grant programs totaling $50 million. She was responsible for the oversight of the corporate responsibility function and implementation of its strategies, including stakeholder engagement and designing philanthropic and social investment strategies.

Erica received her Master's Degree from the Johns Hopkins University/School of Advanced International Studies. Erica received her Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.  She is also the founder of  Joyful Gut Cooking,  a health and wellness blog and website that address health and nutrition in healing.
